Break (formerly known as Big-Boys) had generated a big following for editorial online video. When I came on board, the main challenge was to redesign the flagship website, establish the new brand and concept ad units that were exclusively unique to the site and valuable for potential advertisers. Working closely with the dev and sales teams, we created the new site with an intuitive UI, an infrastructure for unique custom ad units, a new innovative video player, and executed brand building initiatives. After the redesign, Break went from 750,000 unique users per day to 1.4 million within three months.
During my tenure, I led the design team in creating ad campaigns along with providing support and direction on RFPs. We successfully delivered engaging experiences with minisites featuring exclusive content, interactive ads and custom games. Our work was a direct result in the explosive growth for Break Media in their first few years.
